Reflashing a COMPUSHIFT Mini 2 Controller
Reflashing via Bluetooth Using a Mobile Device
Here are brief instructions on how to reflash a COMPUSHIFT Mini via Bluetooth.
Before you do anything, be sure that your mobile device has a good charge or is connected to power. Your device will need to be connected to the internet.
If you haven’t already done so, go to the app store for your device and download the COMPUSHIFT Setup application.
Place your device within 6 feet of the COMPUSHIFT controller and turn on your ignition key to power on the controller, but do not start the engine.
Start the COMPUSHIFT Setup application. Your COMPUSHIFT controller should appear in the list of devices, and may connect automatically if you have used it before. If not, select your device to connect to it.
Press the menu bar on the upper left and select “Firmware Update”.
When prompted, agree to the update process. It should take about 5 minutes to reflash, and there will be a progress bar that will update during the process.
The setup software will display a message when the reflash is completed.
You can then reconnect to the COMPUSHIFT when the flash operation has completed.
