Notes
Clutch C3 and Clutch B2 are used for the 6-5 and 5-6 shifts. There is valve body imposed limit on the pressure of B2, beyond which C3 will be exhausted or will not apply, due to the C3 switch valve.. This means that there is a limit on the total amount of apply / release pressure overlap that can be maintained during a shift, and this may impose limitations on the total torque that can be managed during a 6-5 downshift. On the valve bodies tested, this limit appears to be about 400 kPa on B3. B3 (release) clutch pressure must be slightly less than 400 kPa for C3 to apply.
Torque Management Output
Pin 16 on the controller is driven to +12 during shifts and other torque management events.
