Bluetooth Compatibility with COMPUSHIFT Devices

All COMPUSHIFT branded devices with a Bluetooth radio use the Bluetooth 4 standard for communication, also known as Bluetooth LE or Bluetooth Smart. This standard is supported by many devices built after 2015.

Operating System Requirements

One of the following operating systems is required for Bluetooth 4 support on CS Setup.

• iOS 10 and later

• Windows 10 and later

• Android 8 and later

• macOS 10.10 and later

Caveats

Just because a device is built after 2015 and has a modern operating system and Bluetooth radio does not mean that it necessarily supports Bluetooth 4. There are many in-car radios that have the proper hardware for Bluetooth 4, but lack operating system and driver support.
